Full Job Description This role starts at 3:00 AM at the Mitcham VIC location Job details Job Type:-Full-time/Casual, Number of hires: 3. Taking orders to East Melbourne and surrounding suburbs, picking, packing, and delivering Fruits and Vegetables for 2 days and 9 am the other days.
The right candidate can expect good pay rates. You must have an Australian Driver’s Licence (Preferred) Able to drive an auto vehicle van Good communication skills A knowledge of fruits and vegetables is a must (Preferred). You must be a motivated person and must be able to work independently.
It would be preferable if you had some experience working in a similar position (fruit and vegetable picking) before applying to this job, but it is not essential as some training will be provided on the job (or experience is not important since the job lasts only three months)
The candidate must obey all the instructions given by the farm leader while working fast and autonomously. Physically fit and strong candidates must be able to do the job outside (in the sun) and also do some physically laborious tasks, such as lifting heavy bags and standing and bending repetitively for a long period of time.
Ideally, this position would suit backpackers or anyone looking to earn a little extra income.
