Workdays are Monday through Friday, and if needed, Saturday, and you will need to be available on Saturdays. Depending on the needs of the project, start and finish times may vary. Monday through Friday, there are between 38 and 45 hours per week. Starting times range from 6am to 8am
(later if discussed or part-time dependent on weather and crops). Fortnightly payments are made. This event takes place between Thursday and Wednesday. Furthermore, before being approved, the packer must have experience and skill in this prior position as well as be able to stand throughout the day.
A professional packer must also be open to all the new skills and techniques provided by the company. Aside from that, you have to deal with the pressure of your superiors. A fruit and vegetable packer’s duties include preparing all items according to customer preferences, packing all items according to safety precautions.
