We Mrs. Jones Restaurant are seeking for a casual kitchen hand to join our team. First of all, we are situated in Devonport, Australia. Similarly, the kitchen hand (staff) are very responsible for cleaning the whole kitchen and cooking various types of dishes after the chef. Likewise, the candidates must be very wary and focused on his/her job because we have a huge name in your locality to our restaurant
So we recommend only a well experienced and professional worker who should apply for this job. Furthermore, the worker can work in a team or single sometimes if the chef is not presented in the kitchen. Also, the candidate must have the ability to handle pressure and multitask because we have some deliveries to prepare in a hurry so we recommend this type of worker to be appointed in our restaurant.
We also provide extra skills and techniques directly from the chef to make you a professional chef from the kitchen staff. Besides, the worker must have got a fast-paced hand to perform tasks in a short period. Likewise, the work is from Wednesday to Sunday and on other days you can be involved in other extra curriculum activities. The responsibilities as a kitchen hand are:
Must have to wash dishes and other cooking equipment to maintain their conditions. Knowledge of general cleaning such as mopping, sweeping, scrubbing, and many more. Have to add the needed ingredients in the inventory according to the order of the chef. Must have to pack the leftover of the customers if they asked. Plate the food according to the rules of the restaurant. The requirements are
High school diploma in culinary arts. Knowledge of food safety measures and experience is needed in the same field. Ability to stand and work in the shift hours. Should be fit and can lift weights.
