In all likelihood, the candidate needs to be experienced in handling all types of situations without a problem. As well as determining the customer’s actual needs, the candidate should be able to recommend the appropriate items of the shop that will suit those needs.
As a shop assistant, you will need to receive, process, and organize shipments and deliveries, restock the items according to guidelines, help customers locate their desired items, inform customers about promotions, and be proficient in using the Point of Sale system.
