The iconic Sorrento restaurant & bar is looking for an experienced and responsible candidate to join their team as a chef and kitchen hand for a casual and permanent position. At first, the worksite is situated in AIRLIE BEACH, QUEENSLAND, AUSTRALIA, and the restaurant is looking for someone who lives locally or near the worksite area.
The candidate must have their own vehicle to travel from home to the restaurant. Likely, the candidate has to take all the responsibilities regarding not getting any complaints from the customers. Similarly, the candidate has to follow all the rules and regulations and also the orders of the seniors and walk along the path that they told.
The candidate must have working experience before. While working during this pandemic situation the candidate must follow the safety measures by using sanitizers and wearing a proper mask, gloves, and face shields to avoid germs. Besides this, the candidate must wear a uniform in a proper and cleaned way.
The responsibilities are to prepare the food for the customers, help other staff, ensuring food qualities and taste, maintaining health and hygiene in the kitchen, controlling budgets, and minimizing wastes, organizing duty roster of the staff, managing inventories of the stock and ordering raw materials, recreating, training and developing staffs
Cleaning utensils and dishes, handle, sort, store and distribute food items, disposing of the rubbish, and recycling. The requirements are a high school diploma, proven experience from before, good communication and organizational skills, excellent time management abilities
