A fast-paced restaurant is wanting an experienced, dedicated staff(person) in kitchen hand positions. The restaurant is located in the beautiful location of the Leichhardt area so we would like to have someone who lives locally or around the restaurant area. This is an evening/night shift position starting from 3:30 pm onward & ends exactly at 11 pm
(in total the shift will run approx for 7.5 hours per day). Likely, the candidates have to available/arrive at work for 20 to 40 hours per week (between Monday to Sunday). Ideally, we need those candidates who have got a minimum of 18 months of working experience in a related position
(kitchen hand) & also those who have got a good knowledge of handling kitchen equipment like a sharp knife, etc. The candidates have to work under the supervision of the head chef & have to follow all the kitchen safety & health instructions. The duties/work that the kitchen hand has to do includes 50% washing & cleaning works, 50% kitchen preparation & cooking works.
Candidate has to be fast, efficient, dedicated, hardworking, reliable & honest with a keen eye for details. Also, they require to have the right to work in Australia & excellent kitchen preparation plus communication skills. The paying/price rates of this role will be negotiated in the interview or person.
