There is a need for cleaning staff in the fresh produce industry. It will be a great advantage if the cleaners live or are familiar with the Homebush West, NSW area. Cleaners are required to work six shifts every week (Monday through Saturday) because it’s a part-time afternoon shift position. Starts at 4 pm and ends at 11 pm, working 7 hours per shift for a total of 42 hours per week.
The primary task is to clean the warehouses and offices. Hence, the job description for the cleaner is as follows: Clean the warehouse. Cleaning machines. Mopping floors with chemicals. Using chemicals and water guns. Checking for sanitary conditions. All these works are included in the responsibility, but it isn’t limited to them.
Candidates for this role must have experience, skills & knowledge of the following: Previous experience in a cleaning area (especially in food manufacturing). Ability to plan, organize, manage time, and clean effectively. Good understanding of waste management & fogger usage.
They should be able to work in any environment with a team or alone. As the shift runs at night time & they will have to do some physically demanding work like lifting heavy items, etc., they are required to be physically fit, strong & healthy.
