A fast-paced Indian Restaurant is demanding an experienced, responsible kitchen hand staff for their team. The restaurant is situated in the Bentleigh area so we would like to have someone who lives locally or around the restaurant area. The candidates have to available/arrive at work for six days a week over Monday to Sunday.
Each day, the shift will commence from 11 am onward & it’ll run till closing time. In this post, the work/duties that the kitchen hand has to do are given below: Naan Rolling & food preparations. Washing dishes & kitchen utensils/ tools. Performing general cleaning duties. Checking & managing inventory/ stocks.
Assisting the chef & other staff (when required). The duties involve all of this work but it’s not limited to this only. Candidates have to take their responsibility even in busy or peak hours. Also, they have to work under the supervision of the head chef & have to follow all the kitchen safety & health instructions.
Previous experience of working in a busy kitchen or Indian restaurant (kitchen hand) is highly required. Candidate must have excellent communicating, organizing & kitchen preparing skills.
