We are searching for a kitchen hand/dishwasher to join our Italian restaurant. First of all, we are situated in East Freo. Similarly, in this job, we want the candidates should be energetic, reliable, punctual, and wary of the job to be stable in this position. Likewise, the kitchen hand should be able to store those needed ingredients in the inventory asked by the chef.
Likely, the staff should have to clean all kitchen equipment and cook simultaneously so he/she should be a fast worker to complete all the works continuously. Additionally, the candidate should know to use the kitchen equipment to cook tasty and healthy food for our customers. Likely, the worker should have to demonstrate by preparing some favorites dishes of our customers to be appointed in this job.
Moreover, the kitchen staff will have a very responsible place after a chef so we want you regularly in the working shifts and if you need urgent holidays you should have to inform the manager a day before. Also, the candidate should have to work for approximately 35 to 40 hours per week and it includes both days/night shifts. The responsibilities as a kitchen hand/dishwasher are:
Should have to cook and clean all the soiled cooking equipment properly by using proper food safety regulations. Have to clean prawns, squid, potatoes, and cut them in different shapes. Ability to clean highly-priced equipment such as coffee makers, pots, pans, grills, etc. Clean all the trash can and dispose of the wastage outside the restaurant. Report any damage, breakage, leakage to the manager. The requirements are:
A high school diploma in culinary. Should have experience in this position before. Knowledge to prepare Italian recipes to impress the customers by your taste. Ability to stand and work in the working hours. Should be mentally, physically fit, and must be a hard worker.
