Korean restaurant PAIK’S BBQ is seeking qualified, experienced kitchen hand & dishwashing staff for their Melbourne CBD location in the VIC area, and candidates must reside in the nearby worksite area. The ideal candidate would have experience, work part-time between 4 pm and 11:30 pm (flexible)
The salary is based on the following schedule: Normal day $19.84/Saturday $24.80/Sunday $29.79 9.5% Super Annual Leave. Serving as an assistant to the chef in the preparation of food. The dishes and all kitchen utensils/tools need to be washed. Consistently maintaining a clean kitchen.
Serving food and assisting with cooking. Changing trash bags and getting rid of the trash. This task is included in the works, but it is not limited to it. When a candidate is under pressure or busy, they must assume responsibility. They must follow all kitchen safety and health procedures under the supervision of the head chef.
The ideal candidate should be fluent in English and understand it well. The candidate should have prior experience working in a busy kitchen/restaurant (kitchen handler/dishwasher). We will begin this position soon for the right candidates, but they must possess all the above-mentioned qualities and qualifications.
