For their busy kitchen, an Italian restaurant requires an enthusiastic, responsible dishwasher. Restaurant Lygon is located in the Carlton, VIC 3053 area at 201 Lygon St. As a gluten-free restaurant, Restaurant Lygon has served nutritious, tasty and healthy food since its inception.
Due to the part-time nature of the position, the candidates will be required to work 25-30 hours per week, Monday through Friday. Kitchen hands and dishwashers have the following duties/works to do: Performing food preparation and cooking duties for the chef. Dishes, kitchen utensils, and tools need to be cleaned.
Keeping the kitchen clean at all times. Assisted in the preparation of food and plating. This includes all of these tasks, but they are not limited to them. When the candidate is busy or under pressure, they still have to take responsibility. All kitchen safety and health regulations must be followed by them as well as the chef.
Candidates should be capable of speaking and understanding English fluently. A previous background in a busy restaurant kitchen (dishwasher) is necessary. If the right candidates meet all the above-referenced criteria/ requirements, they will be hired shortly for this position.
