Our fruit market at Arncliffe is looking for an experienced Fruit Shop Assistant. Shifts are available on a part-time or casual basis. Worked in the shop’s fruit section. The position is not one of a cashier. Assist with morning set up and closing of the store, packing of fruit and vegetables, etc. As well as general duties around the store (grocery)
An understanding of Australian business is essential. Normally, the candidate must bear all the responsibility for preventing complaints from the customer if he or she wants to appear professional. He must follow the instructions of his seniors and walk only along the path he was given.
A candidate who works in a pandemic situation should use sanitizers, gloves, masks, and face shields to protect themselves. Furthermore, the candidate needs to wear a clean, tidy uniform. Setting up in the morning, closing the shop at the end of the day, packing fruit and vegetables, receiving deliveries, helping customers, filling shelves
And assisting other sections as needed. Candidates should have a high school diploma, good communication skills, organizational skills, excellent interpersonal and problem-solving skills, previous experience within Australia, customer service skills, flexibility to work, physical fitness
