A fast-paced busy cafe is wanting an energetic, self-motivated cleaner and kitchen hand staff. Working time from 1pm to 5:30 pm 4.5 hours every day. The worksite (cafe) is situated in the beautiful location of the Crows Nest area. This position is available on a part-time basis but good availability of time is essential.
Mainly, the works/ duties that the kitchen hand has to do consist of washing dishes & kitchen utensils, assisting the chef in food & kitchen preparation works, cutting/ chopping vegies, maintaining the cleanliness of the kitchen/ workspace, etc. The duties are not limited to this only & it’s not so hard or tough.
As a requirement, prior experience of working in a busy kitchen (kitchen hand) & also speaking fluent English is a must. The candidates should be able to work under the direction of the head chef or leader & have to follow all the kitchen safety & health instructions strictly. They have to take responsibility in any kind of situation or environment.
Candidates must be enthusiastic, responsible, fast, dedicated, friendly, honest & trustworthy with keen attention to detail. Also, they have to be familiar or require to have excellent knowledge of all the cafe food (menu). The paying/ price rates of this role will be negotiated in the interview or person.
